Well, now its a year later and another Pan Am comp just passed - I decided not to cut any weight and go lightweight in the purple belts. I weighed in with my shoes and a hat on. I wasn't feeling the hottest, since I got in a car wreck the day before, but oh well. I ended up losing my match on points. Interesting match - there was no regular closed or open guard the whole match, and no submission attempts from either of us. I then entered the absolute - did better there, actually beat a super heavyweight on points of all things - again - no submission attempts the whole match, just fighting for takedowns and then position. I lost to a heavyweight in the second fight. So - not so great, but it was fun.
